So unless you want to put a mouth-breathing Kristen Stuart on a stamp, I'd bend over and take one for the team. Brits own us in high fantasy. It's where the history comes from. I think I'm going to change my name to I.D.K Bottomtooth and write about fantastical gnomes and use words like ere, fortnight, and whilst. Instant classic.

P.S. He has some fabulous characters. Or, there are a ton of US vampire hunter things from the Anita Blake novels to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If you're going science fiction as well, there's always Star Trek along with Star Wars. There's also the many Stargate series along the same vein. Characters from Firefly would look awesome on stamps.

Hope that helps. :-)Christiana Krumphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07501255965330891471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7733835506387656648.post-56532846951888788272011-03-12T19:14:04.163-05:002011-03-12T19:14:04.163-05:00That map... could and did spend hours over. That map... could and did spend hours over.widdershinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04205462833259334647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7733835506387656648.post-18743758729078140002011-03-12T18:49:38.203-05:002011-03-12T18:49:38.203-05:00Wow, I never realized before how thoroughly Britai...Wow, I never realized before how thoroughly Britain kicks the US's butt when it comes to fantasy.

Bill Murray (preferably as a Ghostbuster) it is.jjdebenedictishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16950592240599703771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7733835506387656648.post-28442475269502927742011-03-12T17:11:23.022-05:002011-03-12T17:11:23.022-05:00I second Kate - Mr. Baum's characters!
